As the right employer, CLEAR has the best interests in helping grow your career – how to ensure you build a meaningful and impactful career for yourself. We’ve adapted our business to best address our candidates and employees needs in the new reality.
In this edition of our weekly series on what we’ve learned and how CLEAR can help you meet the critical challenge of your career, our focus is on providing the right employment partnership.
The right employer usually provides career growth and development. This is crucial to help you hone your knowledge and skills in order to become the best in your industry. However, career growth isn’t the only important element in growing your career. A great employment partnership enables you to grow with the company as well – providing you with bigger opportunities/responsibilities to add more value to the company and its clients.
We apply this approach in our business. Even though we have developed KPIs for each of our roles – we don’t use or intend it as a benchmark to escort our people out the door. Why? We believe that great people have the ability to learn and grow from their mistakes. One example of this is how our very own Managing Director, Robert Connell has taken the time to provide training sessions to our staff. Great people see the value in great leaders who invest the time to communicate and mentor them. We know it can be counterproductive – because the more we invest in our people, the more we make them more attractive and capable of getting roles in other companies.
When assessing what a right employer looks like for you, remember that employment partnership is very important. The right employer provides you with the kind of partnership that helps you stay and grow your career with them.
Next week, we will look at how to achieve great outcomes from offshoring.
All the best
