We talked last week about world-class leaders who understand your career goals and help you achieve them. To help you reach your goals further, you need the right tools to work when in and out of the office.
Until COVID-19, CLEAR was a 100% work from office business. Overnight, we had to be 100% work from home. We will return to the office but our workforce will be work from home at least some of the time.
Connectivity to our clients’ systems was one of the major issues we had to overcome. They use a variety of on premise and cloud systems, VoIP providers and the like. Ensuring that our staff can access those systems securely and effectively has required some creative thinking. A lot of clients have been assessing how to minimize the use of on premise and other systems that make remote connectivity less streamlined.
Internally, we are an Office 365 business. But we used Zoom and Skype for Business or whatever a videoconferencing software a client preferred. We weren’t using the Unified Communications platform built into Office 365: Microsoft Teams.
Teams is a no brainer for us. We were already paying for it as part of Office 365. Our video conferences are secure internally and with guests. We eliminated internal email. All relevant people have access to the information they need, when they need it. It’s a key tool in ensuring that our great people can achieve great things for their clients.
Whatever systems you prefer to use, what is critical is that they facilitate connectivity and access to information such that – wherever you are – you can deliver for your clients.
